Plastic-Free Packaging

Updated: Mar 10, 2021

Plastic packaging is one of the main contributors harming our bird and marine life, with plastic being found in 60% of seabirds and 100% of sea turtle species. Shockingly, plastic use is expected to increase by 40% between 2017 and 2027. We refuse to contribute to this growing problem, so have made sure the packaging we use is eco-friendly, plastic-free and biodegradable.

We use packaging materials that are FSC certified, meaning the wood used in our packaging comes from forests that are managed responsibly, in a way that is environmentally conscious and ethically sustainable.

The tissue paper and stickers are made from non-toxic, recycled waste paper. They are recyclable and biodegradable. The inks used for the stickers are vegan and compostable, too!

You can leave this tape on when you send your packaging off to get recycled, as it's made from a renewable resource - kraft paper - which is recyclable and free from animal products, and features a natural rubber-based adhesive.
